Syrian Army troops alongside the Lebanese Hezbollah fighters launched a new round of joint attacks on Jeish al-Fatah's strongholds near the artillery academy building in the Southwestern districts of Aleppo city.
Battlefield sources said that the Syrian Armed Forces and Hezbollah are still in the first phase of their assault on this important military installation.
Reports said earlier today that a large number of fresh forces arrived in the Northern province of Aleppo to join their comrades in Syrian Armed Forces and intensify attacks on Jeish al-Fatah terrorists.
"The fresh forces are expected to help their comrades recapture the Aleppo Artillery Academy and 1070 al-Hamdaniyeh Housing Project in the Southern districts of Aleppo," the sources said.
"They are expected to make another push to recapture the Aleppo Artillery Academy in the next 72 hours; this would be their second major attempt seize this important military installation near al-Ramousiyeh," they added.
